This book is by
Dr.John W. Reich, Ph.D., Emeritus Professor of
Psychology at Arizona State University. He has
extensively surveyed the research literature on
the relationships between attitudes, emotions,
and human judgment processes. He interprets that
research in terms of how these operate in the
public exposed to radical speech. In his final
chapter, he suggests how all this information
might be used to counter the biasing effects of
radical speech in order to reduce social
polarization and division in contemporary
society.
